A superb 2014 Fender American Standard Stratocaster finished in classic 3-Tone Sunburst, with maple fingerboard and the special 60th Anniversary Stratocaster neck plate.
In very good overall condition, showing only light signs of use. There are just a couple of small dings to the back of the body, but nothing significant and overall the guitar presents extremely well.
The American Standard of this period is a particularly desirable specification, not least because Fender fitted these guitars from the factory with a complete set of Custom Shop Fat ’50s single-coil pickups. They deliver a wonderfully full and articulate traditional Strat sound, with plenty of sparkle and clarity while retaining more body than many vintage-output Strat pickups.
The maple neck has Fender’s comfortable Modern “C” profile, combined with a 9.5" radius and 22 Medium Jumbo frets – a great balance between traditional Strat feel and modern playability.
