The 1961 SG is one of Gibson's most classic vintage designs, renowned for its lightweight feel, effortless upper fret access and unmistakable rock 'n' roll attitude. Played by legends such as Angus Young, Eric Clapton and Tony Iommi, the SG has remained a staple of the Gibson lineup for over six decades.
The overall condition is very good for a well-used but well cared for instrument. There are a few minor dings and marks to the lacquer consistent with regular use, but nothing that detracts from its appearance or performance. The frets remain in excellent condition with plenty of life remaining. The guitar has received a full professional setup and is ready to be enjoyed immediately. Included with the guitar is the original Gibson Custom Shop hard case, Certificate of Authenticity and accompanying paperwork.
