Stunning 2016 Gibson Les Paul Standard T, finished in Desert Burst with a beautifully figured AAA Maple top.

Good overall condition with a few minor cosmetic dings and signs of playwear, entirely consistent with a used guitar of this age. Structurally sound and presenting very well.

The 2016 Standard T combines classic Les Paul construction with a number of modern refinements, including modern weight relief, an asymmetrical Slim Taper neck, compound-radius rosewood fingerboard and Burstbucker Pro humbuckers.

This example has also been upgraded with an ObsidianWire wiring harness, giving you individual coil splitting for the neck and bridge humbuckers, together with independently selectable 50s or 60s Plus wiring for each pickup. The reason for the 50s/60s switching is simple: 50s wiring tends to retain more treble and clarity as you roll the volume down, while 60s-style wiring gives a slightly smoother, more familiar modern response between the volume and tone controls. Being able to switch between the two lets you choose whichever response suits your playing style without changing any components.
